Today I am grateful for the best pet ever. We have not had our own dog or cat for a very long time. Not since we had to put our precious Frieda down 6 years ago. We rent. We babysit. We visit. We borrow pets from all over the place. We are our own animal camp. But we haven’t owned one.
Until now. Just look at this cutie. She doesn’t bark. She doesn’t crap on the rug. She doesn’t shed. She is not going to cost us a fortune for grooming or veterinarian bills. She doesn’t roll in disgusting entrails and pretend it’s perfume. She doesn’t produce foot-long strings of drool when we eat popcorn. She is just perfect.
We brought her home after paying only five bucks for her at Michael’s. I cut off her tags. But now I have to admit I have issues. I find her sitting in the chair across from me just a little creepy. Her pillow-self looks so real. Woof.
